While getting my M.B.A., I met a classmate who was an officer at General Re, so I had to ask, “What is reinsurance?” Little did I know at the time, that first question would start a chain of events that would lead to where I am today.

A short order cook at a yacht club in Long Island.
What have you done that nobody would guess you'd done, just looking at you:
I walked barefoot across red-hot burning coals (for a good reason).
If I were a tree:
I’d be a weeping willow because they are grand, but flexible.

Play golf well, speak at least four languages, play the piano.
Favorite thing to do:
Walking, riding bikes, sailing, listening to music, being with family and friends.
When I retire:
I’m going to sail around the world.

Falling down the stairs at LaGuardia Airport with suitcase, briefcase and BlackBerry in hand!
